CNC Programmer

Mitrex, an Integrated solar and construction solution provider, is looking for an organized, detail orientated CNC Programmer with AUTOCAD experience and the ability to read architectural drawings and blueprints. The individual must be proficient in CNC programming using Mastercam x9 CAM software. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of experience programming CNC machines. The ideal candidate should have experience in manufacturing and machining.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Must be able to program CNC Machines (absolute requirement);
  • Experience in manufacturing and machining environments;
  • Experience using AutoCAD;
  • Experience in reading architectural drawing and blueprints;
  • Must be a highly motivated individual with excellent communication, creative, and interpersonal skills;
  • Must be organized, confident, goal-oriented, and have excellent time management skills;
  • Must be results-driven, and be effective working independently;
  • Must be willing to invest time toward self-improvement in order to achieve and surpass goals.

 

Position Responsibilities:

  • Interpreting project blueprints, designing programs and setting up machines to produce the component outlined in the program.
  • Determine suitable and cost-effective machining processes based on part specifications.
  • Write and optimize CNC programs to create complex parts on 4 and 5 axis-machining centers.
  • Develop and prove-out required tools, fixtures, and select cutting tools.
  • Create and compile necessary documents to aid in setting up machines.
