Brand and Marketing Director - B2B Solar Technology

Solar Cladding and Glass manufacturer is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Brand & Marketing Director to look after the branding and marketing needs. 

We are Mitrex Inc., a purpose-based developer and manufacturer of Building Integrated Photovoltaic (BIPV) Cladding and Glass Systems for buildings and large structures (Mitrex.com). As the world's first manufacturer to develop customizable "solar" cladding solutions that are price-competitive with traditional cladding panels, we are on the verge of revolutionizing the cladding industry... while helping to move the world toward clean, sustainable energy production.

Role and Responsibilities

- Conceiving, guiding and directing all of the creative deliverables across the spectrum of brand media including our branded marketing collateral, B2B marketing campaigns, websites, social media, product launches, and more.

- Work with senior management to support the vision of Building Integrated Photovoltaics [BIPVs] in building cladding, glass and other surfaces, and to provide guidance to our marketing staff and partners on design, strategy, and adherence to the marketing goals and deliverables.

- Working with our marketing team on brainstorming and conceptual development sessions.

- Managing all the branding, and marketing requirements of the company including brand marketing for web, video, newsletters, blogs, social media, events, influencers, SEO, SEM, and PR.

- Establishing performance metrics in each area and ensuring that marketing goals are met.

 

Requirements

- 8-10 years of professional experience (agency or product company), combined with 2+ years of management experience in branding, and marketing of technical products

- 2+ years B2B marketing experience

- A do-whatever-it-takes attitude

- A "holistic thinker" from both creativity and strategic perspectives.

- Highly developed understanding and working knowledge of photography, videography, composition, typography, layout, etc.

- Excellent design sense in the areas of layout design, colour, and type

- A portfolio of noteworthy projects/work

- Post-secondary education with a degree in Design, Photography, Digital Media, Communications, or Marketing.

- Highly organized with exceptional time management skills and attention to detail

- Able to multitask projects in parallel

- We offer a salary of $80,000 to $120,000/year plus a discretionary bonus based on performance.
